Passado e Futuro no inglês

 Em inglês, há várias formas de expressar o futuro. Cada uma tem um uso específico dependendo da intenção do falante (decisão, plano, previsão, promessa, etc.). Abaixo estão as principais estruturas com explicação e frases traduzidas.


1. Will (futuro simples)

Usamos will para:

  • decisões tomadas no momento da fala

  • promessas

  • previsões

  • ofertas ou ajuda

Estrutura

Sujeito + will + verbo

Exemplos

  1. I will call you tomorrow.
    Eu vou ligar para você amanhã.

  2. She will help you with the project.
    Ela vai ajudar você com o projeto.

  3. I will study tonight.
    Eu vou estudar hoje à noite.

  4. They will arrive late.
    Eles vão chegar tarde.

  5. Don't worry, I will fix the problem.
    Não se preocupe, eu vou resolver o problema.


2. Going to

Usamos going to para:

  • planos já decididos

  • previsões baseadas em evidências

Estrutura

Sujeito + am / is / are + going to + verbo

    Eu vou viajar no próximo mês.

  2. She is going to start a new job.
    Ela vai começar um novo trabalho.

  3. They are going to buy a house.

3. Present Continuous (futuro com planos marcados)

O present continuous pode indicar futuro quando falamos de planos ou compromissos já organizados.

Sujeito + am / is / are + verbo + ing

    Eu vou encontrar meu chefe amanhã.

  2. She is traveling to Mexico next week.

4. Simple Present (horários e eventos programados)

Usamos o presente simples para falar de horários oficiais, como:

  • voos

  • trens

  • eventos programados

  • agendas fixas

5. Future Continuous

Usado para falar de uma ação que estará acontecendo em um momento específico no futuro.

Sujeito + will be + verbo + ing

  2. She will be studying tonight.
    Ela estará estudando hoje à noite.

6. Would (para hábitos no passado)

Would também pode expressar hábitos repetidos no passado (principalmente em histórias).

Normalmente usamos:

  • Past Continuous → para descrever o contexto

Quando duas ações estavam acontecendo ao mesmo tempo, usamos Past Continuous nas duas.
